iCare week, March 5-10
This was a fantastic week full of fun, joy, hard work and achievement. Although we didn't have as many volunteers as last year, it was made up for by the great attitude that everyone had and the friendly, relaxed atmosphere that was created because of this.
Together, we were able to make a big difference to the lives of those we helped out. Rooms were painted, buildings were cleaned up, a roof was smashed down, gardens started to look beautiful again, friendships were made and smiles were put on many faces. Altogether it was a brilliant, diverse week of willing people serving this city! Thank you to all who made it possible!

Humedica – “A Heartfelt Gift”
"Een Hartelijk Geschenk" ("A Heartfelt Gift") is a relief project organized by Humedica Belgium to support poor and underprivileged children in Romania.
With this project, Humedica wants to invite everyone in Belgium, in particular children, to decorate a shoebox and fill it with fun and useful gifts: a small toy, things for school, a cap, a scarf, a tooth brush, … . These boxes are then collected by Humedica and handed out in Romania. This way, we can give underprivileged children in Eastern Europe who never get any gifts a very personal and heartfelt present!
Each year, because of your help, Humedica is able to present more than one thousand children with an unforgettable gift during the holidays. Will you join in too?
For more information about the project please visit: www.hartelijk-geschenk.be For more information about the work of Humedica Belgium please visit: www.humedica.be
